Topics Include: legal authority, use of force, de-escalation, communication, observation & reporting, patrol techniques, access control, emergency response, ethics, and professionalism.

Course Includes: state-required 12 hours of instruction, Certificate of Completion, real-world scenario discussions, and optional guidance on job placement or agency sponsorship.

Requirements:

Important:

  • If you have not completed the state-required 12-hour Initial Security Guard Training, you must take the 12-hour course first.

  • After completing the 12-hour class once, you may attend the 8-hour In-Service class for all future renewals.

Includes: 8 hours of instruction and a Certificate of Completion for renewal.
